Since the final premiere, we haven't and won't, be seeing any more new books or films in the Potter series, however we've still managed to keep the magic going. How have you as a fan, been able to do this, and how can we as a fandom continue to do so? How well do you think, has it worked? Is the magic still there and are fans still as mad for Potter as they were a year or more ago? Bonus - Is there anything you'd like to see TheHPFan doing to help keep it up as well? Tell us, post a reply!

I've been reading a lot more fan fictions, going on more Harry Potter sites to find out news (TheHPFan highly included), and even listening to Wrock a bit, though it's taken some time to grow on me.

Well i think i'm a even bigger potterhead than before because i'm reading the books and watching the films more than before! And reading fanfictions and looking at more fan sites including thehpfan.com

Wiki started a re-read. Alohomora (by Mugglenet) was created. They're re-reading and dissecting the books. No matter how many times I've read the book, there's always something new that comes out. Hearing comments from other people also opens new possibilities. Pottermore. MyHogwarts.co.uk. Various forums, fanfics and websites all dedicated to keeping the magic alive. And, of course, thehpfan with all the news, not only fit to print, but with the reminder that the actors actually loved what they did and that it will always be a part of them.
I think the fandom will waver in terms of being out in the public, as other things come and go. (With 24-hr media and all the hype that surrounds all new things; society being distracted by "shiny bubbles".) But I think those that grew up with the series, those that came to it as it progressed, and those that were affected by the writing and the meaning within the story will keep it strong and alive. And it will pass onto future generations.
I'd like to see thehpfan continue with the news and reminding us that the actors won't forget.

I agree - I think in some ways, the magic has grown stronger because of the lack of new books and movies, so everyone is making a bigger effort and being more creative in ways to do so - like the Potterversary!! I'm loving TheHPFan and all the news and interviews by the way - I'd like to submit some fan art as well maybe. Maybe a poetry or essay section?? Or perhaps thats what will be on the forum later??
I did the Wiki read along mentioned above which was great, hopefully more stuff of that sort in the future! I've been glued to the cast's twitters meanwhile, some of them, like Emma, Evanna, Bonnie, Tom... are doing such a good job to commemorate the series they spent their life on!!

I've been reading an insane amount of fanfic to cope with post potter depression lol. Pottermore is an added bonus I love. I liked an insane amount of HP pages so it takes up my newsfeed on fb. I think you guys are doing excellent. This day almost felt the same as waiting for a premiere. Dressing in my Slytherin attire, drinking butterbeer, eating chocolate frogs and watching hp and tweeting with everyone. The magic will never die

I helped start a Muggle Quidditch club at my school. It's absolutely the best way to keep us Potterheads meeting regularly and geeking out together. We've also pulled a few new people into the fandom because they were wondering what the dorks were doing running around with brooms. I think the IQA (International Quidditch Organization) is doing amazing things for keeping HP in the public eye and keeping it a popular thing. I'm also a bit of a crafter, so I tend to crochet House scarves and whatnot as Christmas gifts. I've had people strike up conversations with me in public because I was sporting my Slytherin scarf.
